Create module
This is the first stage in the system. Here, the DG2L Capture Station and the DG2L Encoder digitizes and encodes the raw content to MPEG-4 standard format that takes care of the necessary data compression.
Process & Manage module
DG2L CineProcessor encrypts the MPEG-4 content. Encryption
keys themselves are securely stored in the database
server. CineManager manages the metadata associated
with the content and the licenses required for each
bona-fide viewing site. The CineManager schedules delivery
of content to theaters. The CineManager contains modules
to manage Theatres, Distributors and Regional Dealers
relationships.
Delivery module
DG2L CineCaster is the module that takes care
of the actual delivery of the encrypted content, licenses,
commands and messages to the Theatre end systems. This
is done by satellite or by physical media delivery as
an alternative
Playback module
DG2L CineBlaster is used for reception of content, licenses,
commands, messages and for the decryption and playback
of content. It is designed to receive and playback HD
quality MPEG-4 broadcast content. CineBlaster provides
smart-card based authentication and secure storage.
At any particular site, a CineBlaster configures for
appropriate reception mode and would playback content
as chosen by the operator. Local storage of the content
is always in encrypted form. It also uses Fingerprint
technology to curb piracy from the playback at the theater
site.
