The hybrid IPTV Set-Top box from DG2L enables
operators to offer an exciting mix of on-demand, triple
play and personalized entertainment options. By combining
the complementary cable, satellite or terrestrial broadcast
transmissions, all our IPTV solutions can optimize the
use of the bandwidth through Advanced Video Coding (AVC)
/ H.264 technology, whilst providing standard definition
to high definition (HD) television. DG2L's IPTV solutions
allow service providers to deploy home entertainment
(features), with video telephony, VOD, Web-Portal, surveillance,
gaming, shopping, e-government, Web-Mail and interactive
services.
A web browser can be pre-installed for browsing the Internet. WMV 9 can be implemented, enabling access to a lot of different windows media, guaranteeing bandwidth efficiency. For using WMV, license will be required from Microsoft. Contents piracy is checked by the various DRM systems which can be embedded.
DG2L's Neuron 2000 IP and Neuron 4000
(IP), as a PVR, utilizes the in-built Hard Disk for
80 GB storage, as it supports recording, recorded services
playback and time shifting recording function.
Users can now feel the comfort and stability
in using this set-top box loaded with the features DG2L
can offer. The simple installation and operation, user-friendly
OSD, high quality audio output (5.1 channel audio) and
advanced video clarity (High definition video) made
for TV and VCR are all designed to enrich the viewer's
experience. In addition, DG2L's Neuron 2000 IP and Neuron
4000 comes with the enhanced Electronic Program Guide
(EPG) and information window that enable subtitles and
teletext for all useful information on programs and
broadcast signals.
